Deutsch-Amerikanische Freundschaft, simply called DAF, is a band, one need to love to really enjoy their music. Minimalistic, monotonous, straight forward. There are no edges, no secret entrances, no winding sound roads. Basically DAF and Kraftwerk have the same musical roots, but DAF went for more danceable music and rhythms. 

Recently singer Gabi Delgado has released his second solo album, called "1". A fantastic release that somehow brings together for what DAF became famous. When Berlin based DJane Monika Dietl asked me, if I'd be interested in an interview with Gabi Delgado, I didn't have to think twice. Here is their converversation:
