You can hear Nils Koppruch in the current Radio Goethe show with his colleague Gisbert zu Knyphausen. Both have recently released their first album together under the name "Kid Kopphausen". A couple of minutes ago I read on Spiegel Online, that Nils Koppruch was found dead in his Hamburg apartment. The former singer of the band Fink and later as a solo artist was able to bring the American Country and Folk sound straightforward, without frills but convincing to a sceptical German audience. His lyrics were heavy but always deep. Nils Koppruch was 48 years old.
